Yes. This is how I see my tour.
First we were at Phu Bai and then we went to Khe Sanh and then we went on the BLT. However in the process some people left and some people were added onto the BLT. I really hated the fact that we lost a lot of our guys who were sent to other Battalions. I mean Terry Lee Poole was sent to another Bn and same thing with Billy V and Freddy Johnson and a lot of other Phu Bai and Khe Sanh Vets.
But then I was just a young kid etc. So what can you expect?

When is Alan Green gonna get off his “ossifers ass” and go out to his garage and open up his foot locker and send us some photos? Serious! I am talking about some great photos that Alan took but we haven’t seen.

Get out there to your foot locker and get them flix. Serious. I remember you took some flicks of some of us guys when we were at LZ Susan which was just after LZ Margo
Anyway I want some new flicks! Aooogha!

I’ve only attended one of these, and it was many years ago. Rod, from the looks of the schedule of activities, which 3 or 4 nights would be best in your opinion — beginning, middle or end of the time frame?

I’m not sure what others have planned as far as length of stay. The reunion runs from Sunday to Sunday. I don’t believe everyone would want to stay the whole week, but I might be wrong. There’s a lot to see and do in San Antonio. It would seem that a 3 or 4 nights stay would meet our needs. What do you think?? I’ll forward this email to everyone and maybe we can get our thoughts together. I’ll also forward some hotel information to you.
